Falmouth Inner Harbor is a bustling place in all seasons but winter. Normal seasonal activity means hundreds of boats docked, moored and going in and out. Not so in the winter as this peaceful scene reflects.
The ferries and the few boats remaining must really enjoy the freedom of wide open space that winter brings.
There are not many opportunities during the busy season for reflections to be seen so clearly with the number of boats stirring up the waters. It was nice to capture the stillness and the reflections of the pilings.
It won’t be long; a few more months, and the harbor will be bustling.
