Today was an “I want to go to the beach” day, but with the drizzle and spitting snow, it wasn’t a good option.
I decided to dig into the archives and re-live this November day at Kalmus Beach in Hyannis.
Starting at the parking lot, you can head to the bay side where the ferries go out of Hyannis. The water is smooth and calm. Next up, walk along the dunes to the breakwater.
There are beautiful beach sights, delightful shells and patterns in the sand.
Out on the breakwater, you can look back into Hyannis Harbor.
Shells collect along the jetty in very large piles.
This was a very calm day; here we face Nantucket Sound.
The walk continues along past the jetty and beside the dunes on this beautiful white sand beach.
Can’t you just imagine it?
