The minute we opened the doors of the car, the smell of the sea air assaulted us (pun intended). It was just delicious and pure.
It was a mild and pleasant January day on the first, and we found ourselves doing more than just taking a look at Cisco Beach before we departed Nantucket.
Heading to the house after getting off the ferry, we decided to see if we could get to the beach in time to see some of the sunset. Well, we had a post peak peek.
It’s a beautiful beach, and one of my goals for the weekend was to see some of the beaches of this populated sandbar in the sea.
There is nothing more fun than running to outwit the sea; to dodge the waves and the foam and keep your feet (and the rest of you) dry.
Laughter, giggles, and running with glee from the foam; one of my favorite things to capture. The adults got into it too, but I withhold those images purposely
Wave after wave lined up to crash against the sand.
While many photographers use techniques to slow the motion of water, I much prefer to show how alive it is.
One can just imagine it is a summer’s day; swim anyone?
The foam “sculptures” made by the crashing waves are changing every second.
I wish to visit here again……….
