There is a chill in the air here in the Northeast, so today is a good day to imagine being at the beach with blue skies and warmer temperatures.
I really like the shadows from the dunes and the way they wind their way all down the beach.
It was a beautiful day with a vivid, cloudless sky, so on this May day, I headed to Provincetown and visited different places along the way in Orleans, Eastham and Truro.
The water reflected the blue of the sky so deeply that the contrast of the sand churning in the waves really stands out.

These delicate grasses look so inviting.
I shot so many photos on that early May day; this was at First Encounter Beach in Eastham. The ripples in the sand do go across the entire expanse of the beach; more of those to come.
