The winter weather this year has been glorious with the warm temperatures and lack of snow. One day last week I just had to get out and enjoy the clear day and found my way to South Cape Beach in Mashpee.
Quite a few others had the same idea; the parking lot had more cars in it than on a fall day and walkers were up and down the length of the beach.
After a few shots of the expansive, clear view, I settled in on the sand and the ripples coming in to shore.
Above this, the rocks visible; this shot, they are covered.
This might be my favorite one of the day; a little bubble spout completely made up of bubbles and a single drop beside it in mid air. (Click on it for a larger view.)
So if you find yourself in need of a beach “fix”, come on over the bridge to a Cape Cod beach – anywhere you like.
The parking is free and abundant.
